Join the new Watergate Museum (est. 2024) for “The Stories behind the Watergate Complex - a conversation with Joseph Rodota and Scott Simon” at the ‘Nixon Lounge’ at the Watergate Office Building 2600 Virginia Ave NW. Joseph Rodota is the author of The Watergate: Inside America’s Most Famous Address (2018).

The book chronicles the history of the Watergate complex from its conception in 1960 in the offices of the Italian construction company Società Generale Immobiliare to its present place on the registry of historic landmarks – through a mix of history, finance, and high-level political gossip. Joe will share anecdotes from his interviews and research on the book. Scott Simon (NPR Host and Watergate resident) will moderate the discussion. Copies of their books will be available for purchase and signing.
The event is free, but the capacity is limited. Preregistration is required. Register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-stories-behind-the-watergate-complex-a-conversationwith-joseph-rodota-tickets-1247644792159?aff=oddtdtcreator. This is the first of several events planned by the Watergate Museum. Please email contact@watergatemuseum.org with any questions.
